MATT'S WINE NOT! LA VIEILLE FERME COTES DU VENTOUX FRENCH RED WINE

On somedays, nothing spells "friend" like W-I-N-E. And as I'm sure I'm not in the minority in this regard dear reader, let me treat you to this little beauty again from the sun soaked reaches of la France (although I didn't have this one today, its memory is still a cheery one).

Especially on long days, a screw-top cap is appreciated for ease and repeated access. This wine has a slightly lighter red hue than other reds I've seen recently, and delightfully greets the sniffer's nose (that being your nose) with fruits and berries. Mmmm.

This wine with the chickens on the front is medium bodied, not too heavy on the taste buds, and is dry yet flavourful, quite tasty, with a very good aftertaste.

I enjoyed this wine very much, and although bought out of haste a few weeks ago in a store with a smaller selection, I was glad I picked this one off the shelf, and you very well might agree with it. Definitely worth trying and keeping on hand, a truly delightful, delicious wine.
